Seehotel Zur Post - Tegernsee

The lovely view of the lake made our stay nice. The bathroom needs modernization. Enjoyed mini golf nearby .

Location: the hotel was really close to the key sights and locations in Tegernsee. Had nice dainties at Eis Cafe Allegria, located close to the property. We were upgraded to standard room on check in.

The standard room was fine, I felt like at home. The amenities included central heating, a multi-channel television, and a sitting area.

During my stay, I particularly enjoyed the cozy vibes of the room that featured a balcony and provided a beautiful view of the lake. I spent time exploring the nearby attractions, including the Tegernsee Rathaus just a short walk away, which added to the overall fulfilling experience. Breakfast choices were diverse and fresh, making each morning delightful.

Nice views to lake and montains from fine rooms, amicable employees. Satisfactory breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. Location near the lake and train station.

I was offered a room with BEAUTIFUL views to lake and montains. The location was peaceful and unbeatable for getting around, as the train station was close to the hotel. Everything met needs, I would go back in flash.

Fine lake views

The hotel boasts fine lake views, particularly from the panorama rooms with balconies, impressively capturing sunsets. Large and clean rooms were nice, while the proximity to local activities means adventures are just a short walk away.

Unfortunately, the noise from the busy road in front is a constant intrusion. Some amenities like coffee in the room are lacking, with bottled water costing a steep 5.50€, which feels excessive. The bathrooms are showing their age and could definitely use a facelift.

But don't expect modern decor. It's starting to feel like a vintage museum. And I'm convinced that the beds were made from clouds. That someone forgot to fluff!
